Job summary

Jobot in Denver is seeking a Litigation Associate specializing in construction litigation to handle cases from evaluation through resolution. You will draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and work directly with clients, insurers, and experts.

This on-site role offers real cases, mentorship, and a clear path toward partnership, with a compensation range of $105K-$175K plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Colorado bar license (or eligibility to waive in)
• 1-6 years of legal experience, ideally in civil litigation
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience in construction defect, insurance defense, or commercial litigation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle construction and civil litigation matters from early case evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive briefs, supported by strong legal research.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Work directly with clients, insurers, and claims professionals, and collaborate with experts on case strategy.
• Participate in mediations, settlement talks, trial prep, and courtroom proceedings, taking on more ownership of cases over time.
