Jobot seeks a talented Lateral Associate Attorney to join its Construction Litigation practice in Denver. You will handle complex, high-exposure cases with an experienced team serving clients in construction and insurance defense.

The role requires a JD, Colorado bar admission (or waiver possibility), and 3–10 years of civil litigation experience, with strong writing and advocacy skills. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active Colorado Bar license or ability to waive in.
• 3–10 years of civil litigation experience; preference for construction/insurance defense.
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet annual billable requirement of 1,800 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Defend builders, developers, contractors, and insurers in construction defect and related litigation matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and contracts with strong attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in a team-oriented environment.
