Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting (MD&B) is launching a Construction Superintendent Trainee program designed to move from labouring, drilling and blasting to leadership roles. The CST builds a path toward future management through a hands-on Development Plan with a dedicated mentor.

Expect travel across multiple states and a learning curve that rewards initiative and safety. The compensation starts at $59,800 per year plus vehicle/fuel allowance, with incentives up to $150 weekly based on milestones.

Qualifications

• Entry-level leadership development position.
• Recent college graduate with a degree in Construction, Engineering, Mining, or similar.
• Willingness to travel within a multi-state area.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety and compliance as they relate to drilling and blasting operations.
• Learn all aspects of drilling in construction and quarry environments.
• Develop the skills to become a State-licensed Blaster.
• Handle procurement and logistics for drilling and blasting activities.
• Understand project budgets and standards and assist in supervision.
