Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting (MD&B) invites aspiring leaders to join our CST program, a structured development path to become a construction and blasting leader.

You’ll start hands-on, learn safety and drilling operations, earn a mentor, and progressively move into supervisory roles across multiple states. Recent graduates in Construction, Engineering, or Mining are encouraged; base pay is $59,800 plus vehicle/fuel allowance, with incentives up to $150/week.

Qualifications

• Recent College grad with a degree in Construction, Engineering, Mining, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Safety and compliance related to drilling and blasting operations.
• All aspects of drilling in construction and quarry environments.
• Develop the skills to become a State licensed Blaster.
• Procurement and logistics related to drilling and blasting activities.
• QC efforts support project profitability.
• Project budgets and standards.
• Project supervision and leadership.
