Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is hiring a Laborer-Construction to support field operations along the east coast. You will follow safety procedures, learn blasting and construction tasks, and work with a team to prepare sites, load materials, and assist drill and blasting crews.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a $150/week travel allowance. We offer generous benefits, including two retirement plans with ESOP plus 401(k), health/dental/vision/life coverage, PTO and paid training, plus

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical & drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check for ATF.
• Experience with construction laborer helpful, but not necessary.
• Must have own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies.
• Load and unload explosives from truck.
• Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes.
• Maintain clean and organized job site.
• Participate in safety meetings and job briefings as needed.
