Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting is seeking reliable laborers to join our majority employee-owned team. If you have construction experience and want to learn the drilling and blasting industry, we want to meet you. Must follow safety procedures, work outdoors in varying weather, and be willing to travel out of town or state.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with good driving record
• Must successfully pass ATF screenings
• Experience with construction labor and heavy equipment
• Ability to learn and develop skills to perform higher level tasks

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies
• Demonstrate physical agility and endurance
• Submit weekly time records with accurate and signed time cards
• Learn safety aspects of construction sites and handling explosives
• Follow directions and perform laboring tasks as required
• Work unsupervised when needed
• Assist with blasting operations and material handling
• Maintain organized and clean job site
• Attend safety and foreman meetings as scheduled
• Participate in daily safety briefings
