Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is hiring for a Laborer-Construction role on the East Coast. The position emphasizes safety, physical labor, and the handling of materials around blasting operations.

Training and development opportunities are provided as the company expands operations. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a weekly travel allowance of $150. Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record and own transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check for ATF.
• Experience with construction laborer helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies.
• Learn safety aspects of working on construction sites and around explosives.
• Take direction and perform construction laboring activities.
• Work unsupervised when required.
• Load and unload explosives from truck.
• Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes.
• Maintain clean and organized job site.
• Participate in safety meetings and job reviews.
