Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Aurora, CO is hiring an experienced Laborer to assist Carpenters, Operators and Masons by moving materials and preparing sites. You will work safely within our Incident and Injury Free culture and help maintain high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, operating pallet jacks or light equipment as directed, and supporting crews to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, rake, shovel, and move materials up to 75 pounds frequently and more than 100 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to travel to project sites up to 70+ miles away.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Carpenters, Operators, Masons, and other trades by moving materials and supplies.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards; load and unload supplies.
• Operate pallet jack and other equipment as directed; support material handling.
• Assist with installing formwork and pouring concrete and maintain site cleanliness.
• Routinely inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to schedules and safety standards.
