Job summary

Elder Construction is seeking a Laborer to support the jobsite by handling materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. You will assist Superintendents, Carpenters, and trades to keep the project on schedule and productive.

The role requires reliability, physical stamina, and a strong safety mindset, with the ability to follow directions and work well with the crew. This is a hands-on, field-based position on commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as a laborer on commercial construction projects preferred.
• Must have a current and valid United States Driver's License.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction.

Responsibilities

• Support Superintendents, Carpenters, and other trades by handling materials and tools.
• Move, load, unload, and distribute construction materials and tools across the jobsite.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free worksite.
• Operate hand and power tools and assist with equipment like scaffolding and forklifts.
• Collaborate with the team and learn plans, specs, and quality standards.
