Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Laborer in Johnstown, CO to assist Carpenters, Operators, Masons and other trades in moving and installing material on construction sites. Safety is central to AP's Incident and Injury Free culture.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift heavy materials; travel up to 70 miles may be required. AP offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and PTO along with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards; load/unload materials.
• Supply tools and materials to different areas of the site and operate equipment as directed.
• Assist Carpenters, Operators, Masons and other trades as needed.
• Routinely inspect work to ensure it conforms to specs and quality standards.
