Job summary

Orkin is seeking motivated individuals in Davenport, IA to join our pest control team. You will inspect and install pest and home protection systems as part of a crew, completing attic and crawlspace services including encapsulation and insulation.

Light carpentry and clear customer communication are essential to success. No prior pest control experience is required as we provide an award-winning paid training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Demonstrated ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and work safely in attics or crawl spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete tasks.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
