Orkin, a leading pest control company, is hiring a Construction Laborer in Dubuque, IA. You’ll inspect and install pest protection systems, perform light carpentry, and work with a crew to complete service visits.

No prior pest control experience is required—our paid training program will equip you with the knowledge and skills to succeed. You’ll receive a company vehicle, fuel card, and all the tools needed to perform your duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
