Orkin seeks a hands-on Pest Technician in Cedar Rapids, IA. You’ll inspect and install pest protection systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and do light carpentry with a small crew. Training is provided, and payroll includes benefits and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete tasks.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
