Job summary

Orkin in Davenport, IA is hiring energized technicians to install pest control systems and perform attic/crawlspace services. You will work on a crew, do light carpentry, and communicate clearly with customers. No prior pest control experience required—paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a project.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
