Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a Laborer-Construc­tion to join our team in Smyrna, TN. The role requires safety-minded individuals able to work in varying weather and spaces around blasting operations.

You will learn safety aspects, perform laboring tasks, and support blasting crews while adhering to procedures and maintaining a clean site. Pay ranges from $18–$20 per hour with a $150 weekly vehicle/travel allowance.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-minded and able to work well in varying weather environments.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen.
• Must successfully pass criminal background check for ATF.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Company Safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly time card with accuracy and signature.
• Learn safety aspects of working construction sites and around explosives.
• Work unsupervised occasionally.
• Load and unload explosives from trucks.
• Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes.
• Maintain clean and organized job site.
• Participate in safety meetings as needed.
