Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a Construction Laborer to support field operations across the east coast.

You will follow safety procedures, assist with blasting preparation, and perform general labor tasks under supervision of Superintendents and Foremen. The role requires reliability, ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, and willingness to travel; starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a $150 weekly travel allowance, and opportunities for training and

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check (ATF).
• Construction laborer experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly time cards to Blaster/Foreman.
• Learn safety aspects of construction and blasting sites.
• Perform laboring tasks and follow directions.
• Occasionally work unsupervised.
• Pump blast holes dry, load explosives, and carry stemming stone.
• Keep job site clean and organized.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in job briefings.
• Other duties as assigned.
