Job summary

Ferrovial, via its Webber subsidiary, seeks an entry-level construction helper to assist foremen and skilled workers. You’ll perform hands-on tasks outdoors, learn on the job, and contribute to safety and efficiency on heavy civil projects.

Typical duties include site prep, material handling, tool cleaning and basic concrete, pipe and trench work, under close supervision. Physical effort and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry level position to learn a construction skill.
• Assist Foreman and skilled craft workers under supervision.
• Outdoor work with exposure to weather.

Responsibilities

• Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools.
• Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
• Perform routine non-machine tasks such as removing forms and placing pipe sections.
