Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support daily operations on high-end residential and commercial projects across NYC, Northern New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining clean, safe job sites and protecting finished work.

Responsibilities include site maintenance, installing temporary coverings, assisting trades, following safety protocols, and traveling to multiple job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience on construction sites preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site maintenance, including sweeping, trash removal, and debris disposal into designated dumpsters.
• Install temporary protective coverings on floors, walls, and other finished surfaces to prevent damage during construction.
• Assist with general labor tasks needed to support site supervisors and tradespeople.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Travel to job sites throughout NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT as required.
