Job summary

CMTA, Inc. is seeking a Construction Laborer to support daily operations on high-end residential and commercial projects across NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT. You will help keep job sites clean, install protective coverings, and assist site supervisors and tradespeople.

The role requires a High School Diploma, ability to lift 50+ lbs, willingness to travel, and a reliable, team-oriented work ethic. Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Prior construction-site experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

Perform daily site maintenance, including sweeping and debris disposal.
Install temporary protective coverings to prevent damage to finishes.
Assist with general labor tasks to support site supervisors and tradespeople.
Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
Travel to job sites throughout NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT as required.
