Job summary

CMTA, a leading engineering and construction firm, is seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support daily operations on high-end residential and commercial projects. The role focuses on keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized, while protecting new finishes and existing structures.

Successful candidates will perform general labor, assist with trades, and travel to multiple project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience working on construction sites preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and move materials safely
• Reliable transport and ability to travel to multiple job sites

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site maintenance including sweeping, trash removal, and debris disposal
• Install temporary protective coverings on floors and surfaces to prevent damage
• Assist site supervisors and trades with general labor tasks
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures
• Travel to job sites across NYC, Northern NJ, and Southern CT as needed
