Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring an experienced Laborer to support Carpenters, Operators, Masons, and other trades on construction sites. You will help prepare sites, move materials, and assist with formwork, concrete pours, and equipment operation while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an apprenticeship or similar training.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in oral, written and listening.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in moving and installing material for Carpenters, Operators, Masons, and other trades.
• Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards; load/unload materials.
• Operate pallet jack and a carrier saw; assist with formwork and pouring concrete.
• Routinely construct and maintain temporary openings and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Inspect work-in-progress to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
