Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Skilled Construction Laborer to support safe, efficient site operations on our Manassas, VA projects. You will help keep the site clean, assist with scaffolding, and move materials as directed.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED or high school diploma, must be at least 18, and can lift 50+ pounds. We offer health, life, PTO and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt, concrete, and dirt.
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations to management.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks manually and with equipment.
• Maintain pace in a fast-paced environment and follow supervisor instructions.
• Work independently, with a team, and in all weather conditions.
• Be punctual, reliable, and a hard worker.
• Direct trucks to dump, log tickets, and track time and load count.

Job Overview: The duties and responsibilities of a Skilled Construction Laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe andefficient construction site while also supporting the overall project.

The list of duties and responsibilities for a Laborer on any given day may include the following:

Responsibilities :

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt, concrete, and dirt.
• Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Must be able to work individually, within a team, and in all weather.
• Must be punctual, reliable and be a hard worker.
• Direct trucks where to dump, sign in tickets, and keep track of time and load count.
• Ensure trucks are lowering their bed before leaving jobsite and drivers are wearing their PPE.

Qualifications :

• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• GED/high school diploma or related work experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50+ pounds.
