Job summary

Walbridge offers an internship program for students passionate about construction and engineering. Interns gain hands-on experience through meaningful assignments in the field or at corporate and regional offices across the U.S., paired with mentoring to launch their careers.

Interns are placed in areas such as Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology and more, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule s.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
