Job summary

Walbridge internship program offers hands-on experience and mentoring designed to launch careers in construction and engineering. Interns work on meaningful assignments in the field or at corporate/regional offices, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and professional development opportunities.

Interns are assigned to areas such as Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology and more.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Passion for construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaboration with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
• Interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
