Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a senior Insurance/Risk Manager to oversee multiple client insurance and surety programs across Northeast projects. You will lead program placement, vendor coordination, and cost management while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial lines, CCIP/OCIP programs, and the ability to mentor a remote team, develop training materials, and engage with business development on RFP responses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of insurance or business-related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management or relevant field.
• Possess current and active professional designation such as ARM, CRIS or other relevant designation.
• Possess or willing to attain and maintain state insurance consultancy license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage client insurance and surety programs and oversee placement and termination of programs.
• Build trusted partnerships and maintain client relationships with inquiries, problems and requests.
• Act as regional subject matter expert of insurance and surety programs, procedures, and practices.
• Review and draft contract language compliant with client’s insurance protocols.
• Collaborate with Business Development on insurance sections of RFPs/RFQs/SQOs.
• Mentor and manage Insurance Analysts and Coordinators, oversee deliverables.
• Participate in hiring process and performance feedback for direct reports.
