Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned risk management professional to oversee insurance placements across Turner’s enterprise services. You will drive strategy, assess coverage needs, and work with brokers and carriers to align risk with market conditions.

Required is a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years in insurance/risk management for construction; licenses or a JD are required. Travel will be regular as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or related program with 10 years of experience in insurance or risk management with emphasis on construction.
• Broker, Insurance Consultant, or Public Adjuster license required, or valid JD with law license.
• Advanced certifications (CPCU, ARM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management strategy, insurance coverages, and program development for Enterprise Services.
• Analyze quotes and approve placements within authority; advise leadership on out-of-authority decisions.
• Develop coverage plans and assess impact of business needs on coverage and renewals.
• Foster internal and broker relationships; liaise with carriers.
• Maintain risk register and assist in mitigating and transferring risk.
• Participate in broker and client stewardship meetings; bind coverage per authority.
• Support annual insurance programs and training materials; attend industry events.
