EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Placement Specialist for the Northeast Construction & Surety Practice. Hybrid role supported by producers, account managers, and underwriters to place new business and manage renewals.

Experience in commercial insurance with focus on NY construction space is preferred. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external carriers to secure favorable terms and grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on renewals and new business.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, NY construction space preferred.

Responsabilités

• New Business Placement: Prepare submissions, work with carriers and wholesalers, secure new business quotes and prepare proposals.
• Renewal Management: Oversee renewal process of assigned remarketing efforts with timely, accurate completion.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with producers, account managers, and team members to achieve business goals.
• External Relations: Build and maintain relationships with underwriters and brokers.
• Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
• Negotiation: Use negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Insurance Expertise: Demonstrate understanding of commercial coverages, NY construction experience preferred.
