Job summary

Jobtailor in Missouri seeks an experienced Insurance Client Service Lead to manage a Construction book of business and serve as the primary service contact. You will coordinate the support team to meet deadlines, ensure timely escalations, and drive client satisfaction.

You will oversee renewals, onboarding with sales, and retention targets while strengthening relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver cost-effective Property & Casualty solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, or similar field; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
• Three (3) or more years of insurance client service experience
• Active Property & Casualty License
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• CIC or CRM Designation encouraged
• Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead service contact to clients for an assigned Construction book of business
• Oversee client service needs and ensure support team engagement, responsiveness, deadlines, and escalations
• Manage the client renewal process and ensure activities meet timing and quality standards
• Direct onboarding of new clients with sales staff, ensuring accurate client files and agency management system information
• Maintain a 96% or higher client retention ratio and pursue growth opportunities within the existing book of business
• Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, carrier partners, vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders
• Support business growth through account rounding, risk and coverage-gap assessment, and implementation of cost-effective Property and Casualty solutions
• Lead Client Engagement Strategy for assigned clients and drive best-practice client engagement
• Serve as a back-up at all support levels as needed
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
