Job summary

Hylant is seeking a Client Service Manager to oversee external support for an assigned Construction book, ensuring high service levels and strong client retention. You will coordinate responsiveness, renewals, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen partnerships with clients and carriers.

The role requires 3+ years in insurance client service, an active P&C license, and solid Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of insurance client service experience.
• Active Property & Casualty License.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, risk management, or similar field.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead service contact to clients for the assigned book of business, ensuring timely responsiveness and escalation as needed.
• Manage the client renewal process to meet timing and quality standards.
• Onboard new clients with accurate files in the agency management system.
• Maintain a client retention ratio of 96%+ and seek growth opportunities within the book of business.
• Strengthen relationships with clients, carrier partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify and implement cost-effective property and casualty solutions to cover risk appropriately.
• Lead Client Engagement Strategy (CES) for assigned clients to drive engagement.
• Provide back-up support at all service levels as needed.
• Pursue ongoing insurance knowledge and pursue relevant designations.
