Job summary

City of Tulsa is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee streets and utility construction projects. The position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in business/public administration or a related field, plus several years of field experience, including supervision.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with work based at 4015 N Harvard Ave. Candidates with inspector experience and supervisory background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business/public administration or related field with 5 years in streets/utility construction.
• Prefer 3 years as Construction Inspector, including 1 year supervision.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years in streets/utility construction, including 2 years as Inspector.
• Equivalent training/experience per personnel policies.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate's degree in business or public administration or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in streets and utility construction work; preferably including three (3) years experience as a Construction Inspector, including one (1) year as a supervisor; or a bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in streets and utility construction work; preferably including two (2) years experience as a Construction Inspector, including one (1) year as a supervisor; or an equivalent combination of training and experience per Personnel Policies and Procedures, Section 100.

HOURS: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm
