Job summary

The City of Alvin seeks a qualified construction inspector/PM to monitor and manage City construction projects, ensuring compliance with codes, ordinances, quality, safety standards, and contract specifications under general supervision.

You will survey sites, respond to public inquiries and complaints, perform specialized tasks independently, and report to the CIP Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of progressively responsible construction inspection experience.
• Associate degree in engineering technology, drafting or related field desired.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering technology, drafting or related field desired.
Must possess a valid state driver's license.

Salary

Starting Salary $22.95/hr.
