Job summary

The City of Tulsa seeks a Construction Inspector to oversee streets and utility construction projects in the Jackson area. Candidates should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in business or public administration and several years of relevant field experience.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, at location 2317 S. Jackson Ave. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and a strong track record in construction inspection.

• Associate's degree in business or public administration or related field with 5 years of streets and utility construction experience
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of streets and utility construction experience
• Preferably including 3 years as Construction Inspector with 1 year as supervisor or equivalent

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate's degree in business or public administration or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in streets and utility construction work; preferably including three (3) years experience as a Construction Inspector, including one (1) year as a supervisor; or a bachelor's degree in business or public administration or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in streets and utility construction work; preferably including two (2) years experience as a Construction Inspector, including one (1) year as a supervisor; or an equivalent combination of training and experience per Personnel Policies and Procedures, Section 100.
