Pennoni is seeking Construction Inspectors for projects in Hazelton, PA, and surrounding areas. Inspect general building construction, utility lines, bridges, earthwork, and other transportation projects while coordinating with contractors and project teams to ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specs, performing field measurements, and conducting material tests for soil, concrete, and asphalt.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work well in team settings.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions near heavy equipment.
• Physically able to perform field work.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspection on general building construction, utility line installations, bridge construction, earth embankment and dam projects and other transportation projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Communicate and coordinate with contractors, project team, and supervisor staff.
• Perform field measurements.
• Complete material tests, such as soil compaction, concrete, and asphalt testing and entering information and test results into report format.
• Preparing clear and concise daily field reports in a timely manner, which includes photographs.
• Creating as-built drawings of completed work.
• Able to work construction hours, which may include night assignments and/or overtime.
