Job summary

Hill International is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector in Allentown, PA, to perform daily field inspections and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. The role requires attention to workmanship, materials, and proactive communication with project management.

Qualified candidates will have PennDOT inspection experience (TCI-1 or higher) and at least one NICET/NECEPT/PennDOT certification in highway construction. Comprehensive benefits are provided by Hill International.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year PennDOT experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector 1 (TCI-1) or higher.
• At least one of the following certifications: PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification, or NICET Level II Certification or higher in Highway Construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspection of construction work to ensure plans and specifications are met.
• Be proactive and alert project management to field issues.
• Provide solutions to mitigate problems and ensure workmanship and materials meet standards.
• Document daily inspection reports and other required reports.
