Job summary

Anchor QEA is seeking a construction inspector to support our Pacific Northwest construction management practice. The role involves documenting work, contract administration, analysis of schedules, estimating construction costs, and supporting civil and environmental projects.

Work may be conducted in the field or office, with travel to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate has a BS in CM/Engineering, 2+ years of experience in engineering or construction, strong communication skills, and

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in engineering or construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Proficiency with project scheduling and evaluating schedules and schedule updates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and methods meet standards and requirements.
• Support oversight, inspections, and monitoring activities.
• Track submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Assist in preparation of change orders, cost estimates, and schedule impacts.
• Work with construction management team to support project needs.
• Manage document control procedures for projects.
• Track compliance with permits.
• Perform field inspections and site oversight.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
