Job summary

Consor is seeking a Construction Inspector to support municipal projects. The role blends field site inspections with office tasks, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and contracts. You will monitor pipelines, water and wastewater systems, and related utilities while coordinating with engineers and owners.

The position requires field mobility and strong documentation skills. Ideal candidates have Civil Engineering or Construction Management understanding, 2+ years of inspection experience,

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 2+ years construction inspection experience.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; FAA pt.107 license preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering plans and specs.
• Experience inspecting water, wastewater, municipal infrastructure, or public works.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify contractor work for compliance with schedules, contracts and plans.
• Monitor water, reclaimed water, and wastewater infrastructure installations and related utilities.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors, engineers, and agency staff.
• Identify non-conforming work and document observations.
• Support closeout activities, punch lists, and final estimates.
• Process monthly pay applications from contractors.
