Job summary

Anchor QEA is seeking a construction inspector to support our civil and environmental projects in the Pacific Northwest. The role involves documenting field work, contract administration, schedule analysis, cost estimation, and supporting design projects, with both office and site work and travel.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Construction Management or Engineering, 2+ years of experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in engineering or construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Proficiency with project scheduling and evaluating schedules and schedule updates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and methods conform with standards and requirements.
• Support inspection and monitoring activities, including documentation.
• Track submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Assist in preparing change orders, cost estimates, and schedule impacts.
• Work with the construction management team to support project needs.
• Manage document control procedures for construction projects.
• Track compliance with project permits.
• Perform field inspection and oversight of projects.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
