Job summary

Jobtailor in Tacoma, WA is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer/Inspector to support multiple construction management projects, ensuring compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards while documenting daily contractor activities.

You will perform air and water quality monitoring and environmental sampling, track submittals and RFIs, and assist with change orders and schedule impact analyses.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology required.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in engineering or construction.
• Experience as an engineer and/or construction inspector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and scheduling tools.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Satisfactory results of a comprehensive background check.
• Ability to work in field locations and office environments.

Requirements
