Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-8 years of construction or facilities maintenance field supervision experience.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent job sites preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills preferred.
  • Availability for variable schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Availability for emergency response service outside normal business hours.
  • Ability to travel between job sites up to 75%.
  • Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors around construction noise, dust, active job-site hazards, and required PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate sequencing and scheduling of subcontractors, trades, and site labor.
  • Monitor project progress against schedule and budget and address delays proactively.
  • Track KPIs and provide progress reports to senior leadership.
  • Enforce site safety protocols and OSHA/company safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and safety audits.
  • Maintain daily logs, inspection reports, and incident reports.
  • Respond to emergency service calls outside normal business hours as needed.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and review and approve subcontractor pay applications.
  • Resolve field-level conflicts between trades and vendors.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, architects, and inspectors.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
  • Support change order identification and documentation.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout construction.
  • Identify and resolve field issues with design and engineering teams.
  • Ensure punch-list items are completed and closed out.
  • Guide, mentor, and support professional development of field staff.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of construction personnel.
  • Directly supervise field superintendents, foremen, and/or site labor.
  • Provide work direction to subcontractors on assigned projects
