Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder is seeking one temporary full-time and one regular full-time Construction Inspector. These positions can be based in Augusta, ME, Portland, ME, or Manchester, NH.

This role involves performing construction inspections to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and project specifications. Inspections may focus on transportation infrastructure, roads, bridges, and related facilities. The candidate will work under limited supervision on moderately complex tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow all federal and state regulations, client requirements, and company policies, including safety, building codes, environmental regulations, and labor laws.
2. Inspect construction sites and monitor activities to ensure adherence to standards, taking corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree or technical certification in relevant fields (transportation, building inspection, construction technology, drafting, mathematics) is preferred. Certifications such as ACI, NETTCP, PCI, or NACE are also preferred.

Experience of 1-5 years in construction inspection or related fields is required.
