Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Responsibilities

1. Manage on-site supervision and inspection of construction activities, quality control provisions of contracts, and periodic inspections and tests. Write daily reports summarizing construction activity and monitor work progress.
2. Analyze and interpret specifications and blueprints, perform daily inspections, and ensure adherence to procedures and specifications.
3. Maintain knowledge of project requirements, provide permits, review cost estimates, and make recommendations on schedule and materials.
4. Ensure compliance in all activities, maintain records, and prepare pay estimates.
5. Provide excellent customer service, maintain relationships with employees and officials.
6. Conduct field inspections, follow safety protocols, and review construction progress and quality assurance findings.
7. Record incidents, measure progress, and test construction materials for quality.
8. Require a valid driver’s license and ACI certification, with strong knowledge of engineering plans and specifications.
9. Possess strong communication skills, mathematical and computer skills, and the ability to work in various terrains and conditions.
10. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, travel to sites, and tolerate exposure to outdoor conditions and hazards.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of related construction inspection experience.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Experience with RAKEN software is a plus.

Work Conditions

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with benefits after a 30-day introduction period, including paid time off, bonuses, 401(k), training, travel incentives, and reimbursement.
