The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a (position) to assist with our projects in (location).

Key Responsibilities

1. Interact with project partners such as clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
2. Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
3. Follow applicable QA/QC procedures.
4. Measure, calculate, and determine all quantities of assigned work and/or installed materials.
5. Report any deficiencies in the contractors' work to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
6. Prepare Daily Inspector’s Reports using software such as Word, AASHTOWare Project (AWP), and Appia.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Minimum of two years of experience in Transportation Construction Inspection and Engineering (entry-level not expected).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills including email, Excel, and Word.

Certifications and Training

• ODOT Prequalification in Inspector/Engineer Categories.
• NICET Highway Technician I, II, III, or IV.
• ACI Field Technician Level 1.
• Ohio Aggregate Level 1.
• OSHA 10 Hour or 30 Hour.
• Valid Driver's License.
