Job summary

Agilix Solutions in Columbia, MO is seeking a motivated Construction Inside Sales professional. In this full-time role you’ll work with electrical contractors, manage quotes and orders, and serve as the go-to resource for product knowledge across lines while delivering exceptional customer service.

Reporting to the Branch Administrator, you will handle inbound calls, follow up on orders, coordinate with outside sales and warehouse, and strive to grow sales in the assigned market while upselling

Qualifications

• Electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Fast response time and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to promote products to upsell customer needs.
• Strong teamwork with ability to execute company strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• A strong desire to learn and gain an edge in electrical industry, particularly in Electrical Construction and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth with electrical contractors in the assigned market.
• Handle daily inbound calls from customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow up on customer orders and quotes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Enter quotes and sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
• Communicate with Warehouse to fulfill order and delivery needs.
• Promote and profitably sell products within the electrical contractor space.
• Serve walk-in customers at the sales counter.
• Train in the warehouse and assist as needed.
