Job summary

Agilix Solutions in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Construction Inside Sales professional to support daily inside sales activities, provide exceptional customer service, accurate quoting, and sales support for construction customers.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires collaboration with Outside Sales, handling quotes, orders, and status updates in a fast-paced environment while promoting profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical distribution preferred.
• Strong customer service focus with a sales-driven mindset.
• Quick response time and effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
• Ability to promote products to meet and upsell customer needs.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to execute company strategies aimed at reaching new and existing customers.
• A strong desire to learn and gain an edge in the electrical industry, particularly in Electrical Construction and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Act as a resource for electrical contractors, providing timely and effective customer service.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to maintain up-to-date information on contractor accounts and job activity.
• Complete quote and order requests, ensuring accurate and timely entry.
• Monitor open order and backorder reports, proactively updating customers and Account Managers on status.
• Support the sale of electrical and contractor-focused products through strong product knowledge.
• Provide backup support for the team as needed.
• Daily inbound calls from customers in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.
• Communicates with Warehouse Team to fulfill customer needs on orders and deliveries.
• Ability and desire to promote and profitably sell products and services within the electrical contractor space.
