Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Construction HSE Specialist to elevate field safety on active projects. You will enforce OSHA requirements, lead audits, and coach crews to integrate safety into daily work.

You will develop site-specific safety plans, drive incident investigations, and maintain safety records while traveling between regional sites. Join a culture of safety-first and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety; heavy civil work preferred.
• Mastery of OSHA standards and practical construction safety methodologies.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, CHST credentials are advantageous.
• Strong communication, facilitation and leadership presence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recurring site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations and reporting.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and targeted training for crews and leaders.
• Develop and update site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) for evolving scopes.
• Maintain safety reports, logs and documentation; identify exposures early.
