Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to support a state-of-the-art construction project near Van Buren Township, MI. You will champion Walbridge culture, manage HR processes, and advise staff and management.

Responsibilities include ensuring positive employee relations, guiding compliance with EEO and OFCCP, and partnering with site supervisors on Talent Acquisition while supporting the corporate HR team. Travel about 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field with 3–5 years HR experience.
• Proven expertise in HR specialty areas (recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration).
• Proficiency in HRIS, databases, MS Office, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Champion Walbridge culture of inclusion and promote strong working relationships.
• Provide guidance and ensure compliance with EEO, labor classifications, and OFCCP requirements.
• Partner with on-site project supervisors to facilitate Talent Acquisition and support the HR team.
• Oversee new team member programs, health & wellness initiatives, training, postings, signage, and information testing processes.
• Lead investigations and resolve staff relations matters promptly and effectively.
