Job summary

FPS Civil is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist or Manager to join a small Arizona office. The role covers staffing, employee relations, benefits, training, and performance management with additional administrative duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Construction industry knowledge and OSHA familiarity are highly desired, and some travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish including reading and writing proficiency.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of construction industry and OSHA regulations is highly desired.
• Experience with Construction Specific Job Costing Software; Vista by Viewpoint is highly desired.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: recruiting, interviewing, posting jobs, onboarding interns as needed.
• Employee Relations: support management, maintain morale, handle complaints with Executive involvement.
• Benefits Administration: manage enrollment, renewals, and 401k programs.
• Training: ensure safety and job-specific training, OSHA compliance, and documentation.
• Compensation & Performance: manage annual reviews and salary reports.
• Business Operations Support: handle office purchases and general administrative duties.
