Ash Grove Materials Corporation, a CRH company, is seeking an HR Administrator in Overland Park, KS. The role supports hiring, onboarding, reporting, and compliance, and collaborates closely with the HR team to maintain records and ensure confidentiality.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of handling multiple HR tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued for communicating with employees and candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of human resources experience preferred.
• HR administration experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in construction, materials, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the hourly hiring process, candidate communication, offer letter preparation, and onboarding coordination.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as drug screenings, background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation materials.
• Maintain accurate electronic HR records, forms, employee documentation, and policy databases.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute HR reports, data summaries, and project materials for management and HR leadership.
• Assist with required training activities, including preparation, tracking, review, and distribution of materials.
• Process employee termination paperwork, including data entry, calculations, and routing of required documentation.
• Partner with Safety to meet, maintain, and distribute new hire DOT requirements.
