Job summary

Perera Construction and Design is seeking an entry-level Business Development Specialist based in Ontario, California. You will develop relationships with prospective clients, industry partners, and community organizations to support growth.

You will research target clients, coordinate outreach and meetings, attend networking events, and maintain CRM records while collaborating with leadership, marketing, estimating, and operations to support proposals and events.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Organized and dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to research prospective clients, projects, and market opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms is helpful.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Zero to three years of experience in business development, marketing, customer service, hospitality, or another relationship-focused role.
• Interest in commercial construction, real estate, architecture, engineering, or professional services.
• Professionalism, integrity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and availability to occasionally attend early-morning or evening events.
