Qualifications

• Experience in using measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Training in marking and reading survey stakes to determine grade specifications.
• Bilingual language skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand plans and specifications.
• Lay out crew and project.
• Set hubs and stakes.
• Calculate percentages, volumes, areas, and production rates.
• Accurately set grade.
• Set up sloping laser and operate GPS.

Skills

Experience in using measuring instruments and hand tools

Ability to communicate with equipment operators

Ability to direct and control equipment excavating activities
